Unfortunate Sons

Specialist Michael Abramowitz, a combat medic for the fictional 137th Airborne Division,searches for Specialist Al Savinni, his close friend whose platoon was caught in a deadly ambush. Abramowitz must rely upon his combat training and some superstition to rescue Savinni and the other survivors. The faith and sanity of Abramowitz are put to the test on his 165th day of combat.

A group of British soldiers are caught behind enemy lines following the D-Day invasion. Private Donnie Smith is an avid reader of comics. His hero is the American comic book character Colonel Joe Monroe. Smith's love of comics irritates Sgt. Freddie Hayes as they try to avoid being captured by the enemy.
